Wildcat girls drop to 0-5 with loss to Bothell, but team showing signs of improvement, plus other action from the ladies’ hardwood
Mount Si High School’s girls’ basketball team welcomed in Bothell last night. Coming into this matchup, it looked like a tall order for the Wildcats – the Cougars came in undefeated and ranked in the top 10 by the Associated Press for Washington state high school 4A girls’ basketball. The game certainly started out that way thanks to Bothell star sophomore Taya Corosdale, who scored 23 of her game-high 26 points in the first half alone. But, the Wildcat defense shut down Corosdale in the second half, and in turn, shut down the Cougars in general, allowing the game to finish out a little more competitively than first anticipated.
